Jon Ford

Jon was introduced to the side in 2005 thanks to an increasing link with Aldershot CC and quickly found his feet in the side. A regular opening batsmen who the rest of the team can rely on to build their innings around, Jon passed 3,000 career runs in 2016 proving just what a valuable asset he is to the sides top-order. A fantastic fielder who saves many runs in front of the bat, exemplified by a brilliant run out at Worcester Park, while Pyestock were temporarily reduced to just 7 players. Also chips in with the odd wicket, usually on tour for which his appearances with the ball are normally reserved. Jon took on the role of Vice-Captain in 2017, a role he is most at home with.
