Sam Armes

Sam is the twin brother of Ben and brings further humour and banter to the side. Opposition should be warned not to be fooled by the slight frame as Sam packs a punch with both bat and ball and the regular competition with his brother keeps Sam on the top of his game, constantly looking to outdo his sibling at every opportunity, with even practice in the nets proving ultra competitive. 2019 proved something of a breakthrough season, as the everpresent Sam scored his first half century and opened the bowling on a regular basis with performances in both disciplines earning him the Captains Prize at the end of the season. Much improved fielding has also rid himself of the banter from the rest of the side following some crazy howlers in previous seasons. Continues to improve season on season as proven by a thunderous unbeaten century in just 30 balls versus Vagabonds CC in 2023.
